Suzy Graven credits her core values and belief systems to growing up on a ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills. She claims her ranching environment provided a fertile training ground in human relationships, building holistic work/life-balanced principles, and what “branding” really means.
As a life and business coach, Suzy works with women facing work/life challenges and transitions; helping them identify barriers blocking personal and professional growth and success. She knows how life can change in an instant… a last breath… a phone call… a knock at the door… divorce… a career change… a move… or any unplanned consequence. Life is not about what you don’t have, it’s about using the best you have and building from there. She learned to manage many work/life transitions over the past 30 years balancing a busy professional life with a growing family including raising a son with special-needs.
After studying fashion merchandising and business at Parks School of Business, Suzy was recruited for executive training at Denver Dry Goods. Her first independent venture was founding an international non-profit organization and scholarship foundation at age 26 while home with her two young sons.
Suzy’s rich personal experiences, business background and entrepreneurial spirit contribute to her multi-dimensional coaching and consulting practice. She has been recruited for her talent in a variety of environments ranging from two of the “Big-Three” management-consulting firms to independent projects and volunteer programs like a mentor based/SBA resource center for startup companies. Her vast background includes work with Fortune 500 companies with global presence, an international boutique law firm, Australian Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Environmental Agency, National and International Agribusiness, Energy and Real Estate.
Currently living in Scottsdale, Arizona, Suzy is a member of North Ridge Community Church, Arizona Chapter of National Speaker’s Association and past Board Member and Education Chair of the Arizona Chapter of International Association of Coaching (IAC).
